Hey, I bought Time of despair and DiEversity immediately after seeing them twice with Nightwish, and now I have ordered their second album "Gone"..
What is your opinion on this? Compared to the others?
It seems to me that TOD is more of a melancholic and calm album compared to DiEversity, I sounds a bit like HiM, though Entwine is far better imo.
Second, DiEversty seem is a bit easier to like, as it is more powerfull album and more catchy choruses. Being a musician myself, i admire the good melodies and vocal lines Entwine create. Everything fits so perfect.
The best moment on the whole DiEversity album is on the last song, after the second and last chorus, when the intro melody plays again, and after a while the double-bassdrums kicks in...I mean, thats a real orgasmic moment.... *dreaming* hehe _________________ "Look, a three-headed monkey!" |

TOD is more gothy, in my opinion, definitely more melancholy. DiEversity is the most accessible of the albums. Gone is pretty good too (silence is killing me is an awesome track), but it's my least fav of the three with Mika. _________________ mmm...cruelty |

The song that made me think "damn, i love this band" when i saw them live was Time of despair. I just love that kindof songs, that just take you away dreaming...and at the same time so mighty and ...sad? Its melancholic but I really wouldnt think of it as sad, though that is the word that describes it the best.
I prefer time of despair and the last track on DiEversity (cant remember the name right now) _________________ "Look, a three-headed monkey!" |

I was begging, whining, nagging and going on their nerves
I really think doublebasses fit Entwine's music _________________ Giving up is easy

IMHO Gone is the best Entwines album:) Time Of Despair... when you listen to it for the first time, you'll think smth like "aha, nice"... and only then, some time later, you start to fall in love with it)) at least with me and some of my friends it was this way and DiEversity is a great album aswell:)
BTW congratulations Engwahilion _________________ Somebody hurts you so you're hurting me... |

Nice to hear that I wasn't the last one who bought Gone. But you got Time of Despair before I did.
I don't know what to say about the albums, I haven't listened to TOD yet, but I've listened all of the songs when I downloaded them from net (evil me...)
diEversity is anyway my favourite E-wine album. |
