So what I want to know of you people is: What was your best concert so far and why?
Ok, I just start: For me the best concert was Nightwish in Oberhausen last year in January. I would say, especially this gig, because it was incredible to see thousands of fans in a huge arena. I was really shocked, because I had never expect that so many people just want to see Nightwish! They came from all over the world! Yeah, and of course the concert itself was really great!
So, it's your turn now!

tori amos in toronto last year (yes, i'm aware it's not a rock concert, but still, the best show i've ever been to). it was the third time i'd seen her, she's my fav artist, and i had third row center seats!
lacuna coil (again in toronto) last summer was really good too. tiny club 'cause not too many people up here had heard of them before. there were only about 150 people there! _________________ mmm...cruelty |

yeah, I have seen Lacuna Coil a few months ago in Halle/Germany! It was a small club as well, I think there were about 200 people. Small clubs are really nice too. _________________ You know there is sorrow

That's really a hard question 'cause there are many good concerts I remember. There are two that were somehow more special than all the others because they were in a way so damned emotional:
Wayne Hussey accoustig gig at M'era Luna 2003
Zeraphine in Hamburg during the HIM tour _________________ dreams are shattered

I actually don't even remember all the bands I've seen .. Since end of 2001 I took pics at over 130 gigs (according to my site *gg*). That's about the half of the gigs I've really seen. So there must have been about 300 gig, with usually three or more bands. I've also visited loads of gigs before 2001 so hard question for me...
Still one of the best "music experiences" I had was to travel with the No Mercy (Hypocrisy) for four days this April |
