i've never gotten to see them...being over here in north america and all. so, how are they? there are a lot of bands i love that i've seen live, and they aren't able to perform well...makes you realize how much of an artist the producer really is. and some bands' singers don't have strong voices live (like, ugh, evanescence - that chick can't hit a note live to save her life). is Entwine energetic, powerful, etc. live? till next year, i can only imagine... _________________ mmm...cruelty |

Never seen Entwine live
according my long experience of gigs i can assure that Jonas(singer) of Katatonia is the best because he remains cold and he is able to focus only on his parts,he doesn't make clown scenes,he is kind with the crowd.....
he isn't a rock star at all,he is only a shy man that sing for his fans
I don't like singers that waste energies in clown scenes, except Nattefrost off course _________________ Suicide Squadrons from Southern Europe |

I've seen Entwine live only once - 7 march 2004. The gig was awesome!!! one of the best gigs i've been to so far. They sang some of the songs from DiEversity, that had not been released then: Frozen By The Sun, Six Feet Down Below, Bleeding for the Cure and of course Bitter Sweet... When I finally bought the album, I could hardly recognise these song:) They sound a bit heavier live)) They also played Alice Cooper's "Poison" and that was absolutely killer!!! hmmmm.... dunno what to say... so if you have any questions just ask me _________________ Somebody hurts you so you're hurting me... |

| how many times you've seen them live? or do you know someone who has been really in a lot of gigs. i know some people who have been to over 50 rasmus' gigs, but has anyone been to so many entwine's gigs? but they haven't even had so many gigs. it's ashame that i live in finland, but i've never seen them. but i've been their fan just few months, an i'm kinda younger than you're so i can't go so far to see them, cos of my money an parrents. but they had a gig here in my city about a month ago, an they'll be here again till one an half months, but i couldn't/can't go to these, cos i'm/i were away from here excactly then. i just don't get why i'm so unlucky. |

Sorry, but that's exactlly the problem they had here.. The band was just too cold on the stage. If you don't give any reactions then you don't have to expect any. They just seemed bored to me.. btw I realized yesterday that I allready saw them 3 times, not 2 *gg*
I saw Entwine 2 times on stage (and two times in their rehearsing room, if that counts *gg*). I my opinion Mika is a good frontguy. His voice is stabile and even once when he had problems with his voice he sang clearly on stage. He's not doing any kind of "show" but still, you get reactions from him. You can see when they're having fun and I think that's important. Also I think Jaani is cool on stage for you can see that he's totally into his guitar . |

In your opinion how many songs do they do Live?
Because i remember in the beginning HIM would only do from 6 to 9 songs live an that would be all for the Night. _________________ http://www.xanga.com/private/home.aspx

I completely agree with you. Mika is a good frontman=)) many frontmen are too emotionless But he isn't! i remember, when Entwine played in moscow, i had a Finnish flag, and a few times Mika took it and started waving with it and after the concert he offered to sign it))) he's so niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice
BTW problems with his voice? when was that???
@burnbury_hmr: dunno the exact amount of songs they sing, but it's surely more than 10-12))) _________________ Somebody hurts you so you're hurting me... |

Entwine is totally GREAT on stage!!!
Awesome!! ..the amount of their energy is huge , that's for sure..!! and they're very nice and polite to their fans.. <3
I respect that a lot..<3
I saw theme 15.5.04 here, in Finland..in a small place called Utajärvi..
Mika is veeery talkative (? not sure if that word is written correctly..x)
and funny Humoristic....and well..what can we say about Aksu?
..one word..: Lovely.. <3 and cute and sweet and everrrything..
and the best drummer that I've ever met..
jaani is very talented, yes..!! they all are..
We talked with Mika after the gig for about a half hour..That was quite nice..
And Aksu joined us for a little while..<3
..and told us about his shoes..x)..and so ooon..
..that's my opinion about the band..!!

A lot of singers do have problems with their voice during a tour, especially if that's during the winter/spring. It's just because it's a big effort to give your best every night. |
