What other bands do we all listen to?

I really like HIM, Sirenia, Charon, 69 Eyes, Nightwish, Opeth and...Tori Amos (haha, she's sort of out of place here!).

oh yeah, and Lacuna Coil, mustn't forget them!

this seems like the type of place to ask - are there such things as french goth/metal bands? silly question, i know , but i live in a country where french is the other official language, but i've never heard of any popular french goth/metal bands. i mean, i assume there would be some...

just try The Old dead Tree - that's a great french Goth-Metal/Rock Band - but their songs are Englisch - french speaking Goth-Metal Bands seem to be rare or I haven't heard one right now.

hmmm...too bad none of them sing in french. i'm trying to learn french over the summer, and i wanted to mix a little business with pleasure! it would be cool to find a french-singing metal band - i'd like to hear some french in context, and there's no way i'm listening to celine dion! Confused

as you maybe know, i used to listen some awful pop(i hope you don't know), like my last favourite band was TheRasmus, etc. But now I listen to music like, well, Charon, HIM, Evanescence, Sentenced, Apulanta, Children of bodom, Nightwish, Flowing Tears, Nirvana, Kotiteollisuus, Velcra, Suburban tribe etc. but usually i like all music which is melodic, an well, the singer has to sing, not yell. an rap, r'n'b an pop aren't music, but anyway I like Maija Vilkkumaa too.

I'm a veeeeeeeery big The Rasmus fan. I would have never known Entwine if i hadn't followed a link from a rasmus site to an entwine site.

ah, they're good for something at least.
I don't like them - they're like a Rock-Boy Band for little girls, I think
